Pennsylvania EBT Card Balance Checking Options

In the state of Pennsylvania, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as the food stamps provides monthly cash assistance benefits to assist low-income individuals and families to purchase nutritious food. It is the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) that is responsible for administering SNAP benefits to approved households.

Every Month, cash benefits are deposited into the beneficiary EBT card account. This help to increase the food purchasing power of low-income Pennsylvania households at grocery stores and supermarkets. You may check out the grocery stores that accept EBT card in Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania EBT card is also known as the ACCESS card. It can only be used at approved grocery stores to purchase eligible food items at the point of sale (POS) terminals. Check out the full list of eligible food items approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

EBT cardholders in the state of Pennsylvania have three options available for checking the balance on their Pennsylvania EBT card.

1. Checking your last Receipt To View Your Pa EBT Card Balance

If you want to know your Pennsylvania EBT card balance immediately after making a purchase, kindly check or look at your most recent transaction receipt. This is the best option and as well, easy way to know your remaining balance on your card. You will see your current balance listed at the bottom of your most recent receipt.
Just ensure to keep your last receipt from the grocery store after making a purchase.

2. Login to your Connect EBT Account

Another option to know your balance is by logging in to your online Connect EBT account. Once you log in, you will have full access to view your current EBT balance, and as well to review your transactions.

In order to log in, visit https://www.connectebt.com and then provide your User ID and Password. If you do not have a Connect EBT User ID and Password, follow the instruction guide on this page to sign up now.

3. Check ACCESS Card Balance by Phone

Another option for obtaining your Pa EBT card balance is by phone. To use this option, just call the Pennsylvania EBT recipient hotline at 1-888-EBT-PENN (1-888-328-7366) and then provided your 16-digit EBT card number. By doing so, you will know your current Pennsylvania EBT card balance.
