In Alabama, it’s the Food Assistance Division that is responsible for administering the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). So, households or individuals with low income can apply for Food Stamp in Alabama.

The main aim of Food Assistance Program is to stop hunger and improve nutrition in the state of in Alabama, by providing monthly benefits to eligible low-income households. With this benefits, they can be able to buy the food they need for good health.
