If you are wondering what will happen to April 2019 Food Stamps Payment, then you are not alone! after all the weird scheduling that has affected food stamps since January, many are now confuse and are not sure about what to expect this month.
In this article, we shall discuss the current plan for April 2019’s food stamps disbursements across all 50 states according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
April 2019 Food Stamps Payment Plan
Food stamp beneficiaries who usually receive their benefits on the 4th – 13th, will now get their April 2019 food stamps payment on the regular date. The disbursement will happen on April 13 for households who usually receive their food stamps between the 14th and 23rd. It is assumed that regular disbursement dates will resume in May.
The state of Alaska is disbursing funds on the first.
Arkansas is resuming their normal food stamps disbursement schedule.
From this month, California is resuming its normal food stamps disbursement schedule.
Households in Colorado will receive their food stamps on their usual payment dates. Colorado issues food stamps depending on the last digit of the recipient’s Social Security Number.
Connecticut will proceed with the normal disbursement schedule. Normally, Connecticut food stamps are disbursed between the first and third.
Delaware is slowly returning to their original food stamps disbursement schedule. In this April, they will be disbursed on April 13.
District of Columbia (DC)
The District of Columbia will issue April’s payment on their regular schedule dates. They usually stagger food stamps disbursements between the 1st and 10th of each month.
Florida has changed its food stamps disbursement system. Instead of sending food stamps over a 15 day period, they are spreading out the payments over 28 days instead. As from this month of April 2019, you will receive your food stamps on your new assigned date. The date you receive them in April will be the date you receive them each month moving forward.
Georgia is resuming its normal issuance cycle for food stamps. You’ll get them on your usual date.
Hawaii will remit their food stamps disbursements between April 3 and 5.

Idaho has returned to their normal issuance date. So households will get benefits on their normal day.
Food stamps will be distributed between April 1 and April 10. The regular food stamps disbursement schedule will resume in May.
The state of Indiana is expected to disburse their food stamps on a normal schedule.
It is true that Iowa has resumed it’s normal schedule.
It is unclear what is happening in Kansas in April. It appears they are resuming a normal schedule.
Kentucky will stagger April’s disbursements between April 1-10.
Households in Louisiana will receive their food stamps between April 1 and April 9. If you usually receive your food stamps during that time, it means that you’ll receive your funds on the usual date. If you receive your food stamps between the 10th and the 14th, you’ll receive them on April 9th. Starting in May, they will return to the usual schedule.
The regular schedule is in effect in Maine for April 2019. You will receive your food stamps on the regular date, between April 10 and April 14.
It is unclear what is happening in Maryland in April. It appears that they are resuming their normal schedule.
Households in Massachusetts will get their Food stamps disbursed on their regular schedule in April.
In April, food stamps households will receive their funds during the first two weeks of the month. The regular schedule will begin again in May.
It is unclear what is happening in Minnesota. It appears they are resuming their normal schedule but we are unsure.
Food stamps will be disbursed on April 12.
Missouri is on the regular schedule.
It appears Montana is resuming a normal schedule, but we are unsure.

It like Nebraska has resumed a normal schedule.
Nevada has resumed a normal schedule.
This state is also on its normal schedule.
If you live in New Jersey, you’ll get your food stamps on your usual date.
This April disbursement will be made between the 1st and 10th.
It is unclear but it appears that New York is also resuming a regular schedule.
Food stamp disbursements will be made as from April 12 for households who usually receive their food stamps on or after the 12th of the month. Households who usually receive food stamps on the 1st-11th will receive their funds on their normal date.
In North Dakota, you’ll get your food stamps on the first (as usual).
Ohio is resuming the usual schedule.
In Oklahoma, the usual staggered disbursement dates are expected to resume in April.
You’ll receive your benefits on your usual date between April 1 – 9.
Pennsylvania is resuming their usual schedule starting from this month of April.
The state of Rhode Island is disbursing funds on the first.
All South Carolina households will receive their food stamps on their normal dates.
Food stamps households in South Dakota will receive their benefits on the 10th.
It appears that Tennessee has resumed its normal schedule, although this is not confirmed.
It appears that Texas has resumed its normal schedule, also.
Households in Utah will receive their food stamps on their usual date.
Food stamps will be sent on April 1 in Vermont.
Virginia will resume their normal staggered issuance dates in April.
Households in Washington State will get their food stamps on their regular issuance date. In Washington, that’s the date your application was approved.
It appears Washington DC is resuming their usual schedule, although this is unconfirmed.
In West Virginia, food stamps will be disbursed on the normal schedule.
Households in Wisconsin will receive their food stamps on their normal payment day, even though this may mean that some families have to go 45 days between their March and April disbursements.
Wyoming resumed their normal disbursement date as from the month of March. This will continue in this month of April.
